Officers making a traffic stop on Interstate 15 in Arizona noticed the driver “would not make eye contact with deputies and appeared extremely nervous,” ABC reports. So they called for a drug-sniffing dog that, the Mohave County Sheriff’s Department report said, sniffed drugs—almost $3.7 million worth. The payload included 66 pounds of a liquid substance that tested positive for methamphetamine, six bricks of a white powder that tested positive for cocaine, 2.2 pounds of a substance that tested positive for MDMA and 1,000 packages of candy-infused THC products, the sheriff’s office said.
The driver, Logan Lewis Pederson, 30, of Sandy, Utah, was arrested this week and charged with six felonies, per the Verde Independent. He’s being held in an adult detention facility on $300,000 bail.
