The Princess Of Norway Is Dropping Her Title To Become An Instagram Influencer

She just posted a selfie with Gwyneth Paltrow.

Princess Märtha Louise of Norway, the “clairvoyant” member of the Norwegian royal family, is eschewing her royal title to become a new-age influencer.

Earlier this year, the princess was criticised for exploiting her hereditary status for business purposes when she and boyfriend Shaman Durek Verrett hosted a speaking tour in Norway called “The Princess and the Shaman”, promising to take attendees “on a self-discovery into wisdoms to reveal to you your divine self-activated”.

Now, the royal has now made an announcement via Instagram that she is giving up her “princess” title, unless officially representing the Norwegian royal family, or in a private setting, according to People.

She wrote, “The fact that I used Princess in the title of my tour, I have said before that I am very sorry, and I still stand by that. It was a mistake and I understand that it provokes when the princess title is used this way. The discussions are something I have taken seriously, and in collaboration with my family we have found that it is best that we make some changes.”

She continued: “From now on I will not use my princess title in a commercial context. That is, in all commercial contexts, I only use Märtha Louise.”

Following the news of her spiritual endeavours, she has since also launched a separate work Instagram called @martha.louise.intuitive, which she debuted with a post, captioned: “I am simply Martha Louise. Let’s explore life and go on adventures together.”

And already, she has used the account to promote a new webinar with Verret about “love, life and change on this planet.”

The princess has become increasingly spiritual over the last decade, claiming to be clairvoyant, authoring books, and she once talked about being able to “see into the other world all the time”.

Just last month, the posted selfies in the Hamptons with the queen of wellness herself, Goop-founder Gwyneth Paltrow, last month.

So Märtha Louise might have lost one title, but gained another – as the most woke royal, no?
