Man Accused Of Sodomizing 11-Year-Old Girl While Giving Her Tattoo

SALT LAKE CITY – A 24-year-old man was arrested Sunday after police said an 11-year-old girl told them the man sodomized her while giving her a tattoo, KUTV reported.

KUTV reported a concerned grandmother contacted police after her granddaughter said another girl had been assaulted by Michael Easley.

The victim reportedly told her friends that Easley played with her breast, penetrated her with his fingers, and forced her to perform oral sex on him. The friends told police at least one other girl was present when the 11-year-old was believed to have been abused, according to the statement.

An officer with the East Carbon Police Department talked with the victim, who initially denied that anything happened, or that she ever went to Easley’s home.

The officer then interviewed her friend, who said they were at Easley’s home the night the alleged abuse occurred, and that he was giving the victim a tattoo.

After more back-and-forth with the victim and her friend, the victim eventually told the officer that she and her friend had gone to Easley’s house to “smoke weed and cigarettes,” the statement of probable cause reads.

“While there Michael began giving the victim a tattoo on her breast. During that time he started playing with the victim’s breast … he digitally penetrated her, and then … made her perform oral sex on him,” the officer wrote.

Easley was in Carbon County Jail custody on Thursday. He has yet to be indicted for the reported sexual abuse, but was held without bail because of an ongoing but separate case involving drug possession charges.

Easley is facing charges of sodomy on a child, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and unlawful tattooing of a minor, police said. He is currently being held without bail.
