Jury Deliberations Begin In Harvey Weinstein Rape Trial

Jury deliberations have begun in the rape trial of Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein.

The jury, consisting of seven men and five women, began deliberating on Tuesday, and after about 40 minutes sent a note asking for more details on legal terms.

A bit later, the jury sent a second request.

“We would like a copy of people’s exhibit #75 the blueprint of the Soho apartment. We would also like a copy of all the emails of certain women’s names are highlighted in red,” the jury’s second note read.

Weinstein is accused of raping a woman inside of a Manhattan hotel room in 2013, as well as another sexual assault case involving a production assistant back in 2006.

Dozens of women have come forward to accuse 67-year-old Weinstein, including actresses like Rose McGowan, Mira Sorvino, and Rosanna Arquette. He continues to plead his innocence.

According to Page Six, Weinstein told reporters he was “feeling good” upon entering the courtroom.
